This Changed Everything

A little over a year ago I was in a high-level mentorship coaching program, working with a coach on feminine embodiment.

Now you may be thinking, feminine embodiment .. say what?

Embodiment is everything ... it's who you're being, how you're showing up ... it's essentially walking your talk. It's official definition is "the representation or expression of something in a tangible or visible form"

For me Feminine Embodiment is the representation or expression of a women who you're magnetized to. She has that energy, that magic, that essence that makes you want more.  You want what she's having, because it looks like she's having a great time! 

And let me tell you ... I was called to work with this mentor because I myself was pretty sick of walking the talk that screamed the opposite, it screamed "push harder, do more, go faster, force, strive, suffer, hurry"

I was ready to walk the walk of feminine embodiment ... of enjoying my self more, enjoying my intimate relationships more  ... I was ready to walk the walk of enjoying what I did everyday, enjoying my body, being naturally happy and free in my self expression.

It changed everything for me.  It's as if Sheila was speaking for me - saying everything that I had felt but never knew how to express.

When my mentor played this video for us, tears tickled down my cheeks.  It struck an emotional chord.  A deep knowing and grieving for years of being disconnected from this feminine nature.

Since seeing this video, it has continued to inspire me and deepen my journey into awakening my own feminine body movement, my own feminine nature, and my own erotic creature as Sheila calls it.

The shifts that I've experienced as I've awakened my feminine nature and journeyed through my own blocks with my own coach have been life changing.


++ relationships went from constant fighting to enjoyment, connection, and playfulness
++ anxiety went from existing in my life to BUH BYE
++ happiness went from on and off to a deep sense of natural happiness
++ creativity went from blocked to flowing
++ trusting in myself went from rocky to solid

The tools and strategies, including the feminine body movement, that have helped me so much - I now infuse into everything I do - from my group programs to 1:1 coaching and beyond.

Let Desire Drive Your Do - Part III

In this week's video, we're paving the way to desire.  Now living from a place where you let your desire drive your do requires a great amount of "space".  

Mental space ... physical space ... emotional space ...

Why?  Well imagine for a second a version of you, or someone like you, who is constantly frantic.  Over scheduled.  Over committed. And flat out.  She is reacting versus creating.  She's deeply lacking space - space to feel, to think, to process, to be, to clear, to re-ground and re-launch.

Creating space can feel difficult, because it often means letting things go.  But I've found that the most powerful act {towards discovering and living from your desire} we can take is to make space.

I started looking at new possibilities and shifting my perspective. I started making changes. I started to feel.

Then FEAR crept in and before I knew it, I was back to working the job I’d left.

Looking back, I realize why. I had a fear of giving up, a fear of quitting, a fear of letting go, a fear of what may lie ahead.

Now though, I know that change and assessing other paths and options is essential to giving us more of what we need and desire. And I'm happy to report that I've followed that DESIRE and now help others do the same.

The desire for something more.

The desire to feel and experience a richer life.

The desire to be HAPPY, and FULLY alive.

The desire to do what my heart longs for.

Let Desire Drive Your Do - Part II

As Danielle LaPorte says ... what we're all chasing is a FEELING. 

In every goal we set ...

commitment we say yes to ...

and action we take, we're hoping it will bring us closer to a certain feeling.

But what is that feeling, do we know? 

Or are we just guessing and following suit of everyone else ... doing what they do, hoping that it will bring us to feeling ... good? 

When we know what that feeling is, are there other ways or paths to achieving that feeling? (spoiler alert - yes!).

In today's video - the main action is to explore how you want to feel.  It's a radical act!  Most women can tell me how they don't want to feel, but sincerely struggle naming and claiming how they do want to feel.



Once you have the answer to how you want to feel, take it deeper by asking "and what will having that [feeling] do for me?"  Ask yourself this follow up question a few times to really hit the root.

Here's an example from my own life:  For the past 18 months I've been on a journey to feel more sensually embodied.

What will having that feeling do for me, you ask?

 >>>  It will help me slow (the F) down<<<

What will slowing down do for me?

 >>>  It will help me be more present, more purposeful, more connected, and really help me enjoy myself, others, and life more(instead of struggling, doing more, pushing harder, in hopes of the same outcome)  <<<

What will being more purposeful and enjoying myself, others, and life more do for me?

 >>>  It will allow me to deepen my connection and intimacy with my husband. 
It will help me feel more comfortable, confident, and free in my own body and being<<<

And what will having that allow for?

 >>>  Enjoyment!
            Peace and ease
connection to inner power + empowerment
and an unshakable sense of self acceptance, self love, and radiance <<<


So you could ask ... am I after the feeling of sensual embodiment or am I after the feeling of self-love and enjoyment? 

This question sequence helps you see what you are truly after at the core (i.e. for me: self-love and enjoyment of self and others) - and shows you the path or 'the how' to it for you, at this moment (i.e. for me: sensual embodiment practices).

Imagine for a moment, if someone put you on the spot and asked :: 

"What do you desire? As in what do you really want to experience in life"  

or how about ..

"What are the top 4 feelings that you want to cultivate and embody this year"

If you struggled to answer these questions - and trust me -  it can be one of the hardest questions to answer. It's much easier to know what we don't want...  Then you're going to love this Video.
